ACTIVE INGREDIENT
(S)-Methoprene (CAS #65733-16-6) | 0.002625 | % |
Insect growth regulator for continuous feeding during the fly season to prevent the breeding of horn flies in the manure of treated cattle.
ACTIVE DRUG INGREDIENT
Lasalocid | 120 | grams/ton |
Increased rate of weight gain in pasture cattle (slaughter, stocker, feeder cattle and dairy and beef replacement heifers).
Feed 1 lb per head per day to beef cattle on pasture. For a 1000 pound animal, this will provide the recommended intake of 11.9 mg of (S)-Methoprene per 1000 pounds of body weight per day and 60 mg of chlortetracycline per head per day. Provide a source of fresh, clean water at all times.
WARNING: A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
CAUTION: Keep out of reach of children. Discard empty container according to local regulations. Never reuse empty container. The safety of Lasalocid for use in unapproved species has not been established. Do not allow horses or other equines access to feeds containing Lasaloid as ingestion may be fatal. Do not feed to sheep or goats. Feed should be stored in a well-ventilated, dry area protected from rodents and insects. Feed is perishable. Do not feed moldy or insect-infested feed to animals as it may cause illness or death.
